The Martin Luther King Health Center is a private non-profit and does not receive federal or state funding. We depend on the generosity of our community for donations in time, money and medications. Please consider supporting your local community clinic with your tax deductible donation payable to the Martin Luther King Health Center.

Become a “Friends for Life” supporter and sponsor an entire clinic day each year. Your sponsorship will cover the medical care for 15 to 20 patients (includes laboratory testing, medications and clinic visits).

Medication Donations:

Physicians, hospitals, nursing home and assisted living facilities can donate unexpired medications and samples to our clinic pharmacy. The Martin Luther King Health Center pharmacy is licensed through the State of Louisiana Board of Pharmacy as a Charitable Pharmacy. State law allows facilities to donate unexpired medications to entities that do not resell or file for third party reimbursement.
